Acne and eczema are two chronic skin disorders that may be improved by the fats, chemicals, and vitamins included in avocados. The same nutrients may also aid to balance out skin tone and soothe parched skin.

Equipment

  • 1 small mixing bowl
  • 1 knife
  • 1 fork -or something else to mash the avocado
  • 1 Spoon
  • 1 Measuring cup

Materials

  • 1 ripe whole avocado
  • 2 tablespoons cornmeal
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or any other oil of choice

Instructions

  • Cut the avocado in half and reserve the other half for another use. Mash 1/2 whole avocado.

  • Add the cornmeal and mix thoroughly.

  • Combine the oil of choice and mix well. Add as musch as you need to get your desired consistency. Gently massage the scrub onto damp skin. Rinse off with warm water.
