6 heatless ways to stretch your natural hair #44

We all know how evil heat can be for our strands! That is why is so important to use heatless ways to stretch our hair whenever possible. Below you will find six different ways you can do just that!

1. Banding

Use goody bands to section off the length of your hair (1 inch apart). Place bands throughout hair length.

2. Two strand twist/braids

Two strands twist/braid your hair & pin the twist/braid to the opposite side of your head.


Natural-Henna

3. Henna

Use henna on your hair if you’re not protein sensitive. It helps elongate your curls whilst deeply nourishing and repairing your strands.


Shea butter

4. Heavy butters

Use products with shea butter, mango butter, or other heavy creams/stylers that will help elongate your strands.


Bunning natural hair

5. Bunning

Split your hair in half and make a puff on each side. Twist the puff and wrap it around itself.


Flexi rod set

6. Double stretch

Add flexi rods or perm rods to the ends of your braids/twists for an extra stretch.
